One of the biggest advantages of owning a Mac is that we don't have to face many issues with it nor we have to troubleshoot it frequently, it just runs.
However, this doesn't mean that we will never face any issues. After all, it's a computer and we will have to deal with it when problems arise.

Is your Mac running slow?
This can be a common issue among Mac users who don't shut down their devices often. Try to restart your device and you'll be able to find out the difference straight away.
If this problem still persists, kill the apps which are consuming large amounts of RAM. To do this, open Activity Monitor (press command + spacebar and type Activity Monitor) and sort them by memory usage. Next, go to the app and quit it directly from there or select the apps name in the Activity Monitor and click X on the top left corner to kill it.
Having trouble with Wi-Fi on Mac?
If you are facing any issues with the Wi-Fi on your Mac, turn it off for few minutes and try starting it again. This will solve the issue most of the times.
If you are still facing any issues, open System preferences > Network preferences > Advanced. You'll find all the networks you were/are connected to, disconnect from the preferred network and re-connect again by entering the password. This should fix your problem.
If all fail, try upgrading to OS X El Capitan or macOS Sierra since Apple has fixed the Wi-Fi problems persisted in Yosemite version.
