It seems like Huawei is gearing up for a major launch of several new smartphones in early 2013. As per a recent report, Huawei will release two handsets based on the latest incarnation of Windows Phone platform in Las Vegas during the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in January.

Earlier reports claim that Ascend W1 has a 4 inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, micro SD card support and 2,000 mAh battery.

Further, Huawei could price Ascend W1 at $310 (approx. Rs 17,000), thereby making it the cheapest Windows Phone 8 smartphone so far.
