    The new update for the Huawei-made Google Nexus 6P brings performance issues apart from bringing other minor improvements. Google has confirmed the new update in its Reddit post, stating "The fixes for this build are similar to the ones mentioned for the 5X.

    The Android maker has merged this performance update for both Nexus handsets with the March Android security update. Well, here are all the details of new update. Before looking at what the new performance update brings, have a look at the specs of Nexus 6P.

    Just to recall, the Google Nexus 6P is considered as the best Nexus device ever built, it is arguably the best Android smartphone launched this year. The Nexus 6P is the premium offering that boasts high-end features such as fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, a metal body design, Android Marshmallow and more. The phone is available for Rs 39,999 for 32GB and Rs 42,999 for 64GB variant.

    The Nexus 6P is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with 64-bit octa-core CPU, and 3GB of RAM. It comes with internal storage space of 32GB or 64GB, depending up on your choice, but cannot expand it using a microSD card.

    The new update brings general device performance, which squashes more than a dozen vulnerabilities on Android including Keyring, a Linux security hole.


    The new performance update fixes the DND next alarm disappearing issue.


    The new update brings carrier-specific bug fixes. I also should mention that the builds mentioned on the developers site are carrier specific, with the majority of carriers worldwide being on MHC19I (5X equivalent - MHC19J).
