Motorola has embedded the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC inside the Motorola Edge 40, which is a capable, 5G-enabled chipset. As mentioned above, the smartphone will have 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The Poco F5 is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno graphics. The chip is accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also features Dynamic RAM Expansion 3.0 and a new and improved cooling system with Hyperboost Gaming to improve the frame rate in games.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a dual-camera setup on the back, comprising a 50MP primary camera with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.4 aperture. There's a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the back that can also shoot macro images. The Motorola smartphone features a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. The Poco F5 gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and 1.4μm large pixel. According to Motorola, the Motorola Edge 40 is the slimmest 5G smartphone worldwide. It packs a 4400mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Poco has packed a larger 5,500mAh battery inside the Poco F5 5G, which support 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.
Motorola Edge 40 Vs Poco F5: Which One To Buy?
Both Motorola and Poco have offered some great hardware inside their respective smartphones. The Motorola Edge 40 and the Poco F5 smartphones have surprisingly well-balanced specifications and features.
The Motorola Edge 40 and the Poco F5 smartphones are priced below ₹30,000, which makes them excellent options in the midrange Android smartphone category. Both smartphones have Full HD+ OLED displays, capable chipsets, and ample RAM.
The Poco F5 does have an edge in the battery department as it packs a much larger battery. On the other hand, even if it has a triple rear camera setup, the Poco F5 has a 16MP front-facing camera, which is half the resolution of the Motorola smartphone.
