OnePlus 16, Vivo V80, OPPO F35 Pro, Motorola Edge 70 Neo and More: Smartphones Launching in October 2026

October 2026 may not match September's rush of flagship launches, but Techtober still has several important smartphones lined up for Indian buyers. The month's expected lineup includes camera-focused mid-range phones, large-battery models, gaming smartphones and premium flagships from Vivo, Oppo, Motorola, OnePlus, Infinix and RedMagic.

The common theme this month is battery capacity. Several upcoming phones are tipped to cross the 7,000mAh mark, while some leaks point to even larger 10,000mAh packs. This could make October especially relevant for users who prioritise endurance, gaming, video streaming and travel-friendly usage.

Vivo V80 & Vivo S2 FE

Vivo V80 and S2 FE will launch in India on October 6. The V80 features a Zeiss co-engineered triple rear camera setup with 50MP primary, 50MP telephoto and 8MP ultrawide cameras. It is also tipped to pack a 7,200mAh battery with 90W charging and a 50MP selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the Vivo S2 FE could feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300e chipset, 10,000mAh battery, 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and 32MP selfie camera.

OPPO F35 Series

OPPO F35 series will launch in India on October 5, with leaked pricing suggesting the F35 could cost around ₹37,999 and the F35 Pro between ₹44,000 and ₹50,000.

The F35 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, Dimensity 7360 Max chipset and 8,000mAh battery. Both phones may get 50MP ultrawide selfie cameras, 80W charging, strong IP ratings and ColorOS 17.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo

The Motorola Edge 70 Neo is expected to launch in the coming weeks after appearing on an Android 17 beta sign-up page for India. Early reports suggest it could feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and 6GB RAM. Motorola may also retain its near-stock Android experience, potentially appealing to users seeking clean software, a slim design and dependable mid-range performance.

OnePlus 16

At the premium end, the OnePlus 16 is confirmed to launch in China on October 12. The phone will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, built on a TSMC 2nm process. An India launch timeline has not been confirmed yet, but OnePlus flagships typically draw strong interest from Indian users.

The OnePlus 16 is expected to feature a dual-cell 9,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Camera rumours point to a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera. These details suggest OnePlus may focus heavily on endurance and zoom photography this cycle.

OPPO Find X10 Series

Oppo's more premium Find X10 series is also expected to reach global markets later in October, after debuting in China in September. The Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max feature Hasselblad-tuned rear cameras, with both models offering a 200MP main camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.

The difference lies in the ultrawide camera and chipset. The Find X10 Pro Max gets a 200MP ultrawide sensor and MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, while the standard Find X10 uses a 50MP ultrawide camera and Dimensity 9600M processor. Both models are listed with 8,000mAh batteries, 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Infinix GT 50 Pro

Infinix has teased the GT 50 Pro for India, though a launch date is yet to be announced. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The gaming phone also gets liquid cooling, shoulder triggers, RGB lighting, a 50MP OIS camera and 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. To recall, the Infinix GT 50 Pro made its global debut back in April.

RedMagic 12 Pro+

The RedMagic 12 Pro+ is confirmed to launch on October 15 as the brand's latest gaming flagship. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, with one configuration offering 16GB RAM and Android 17. RedMagic has also teased a thinner and lighter design with rounded corners for improved comfort during gaming. The phone is expected to focus heavily on sustained performance, cooling and battery life, with full specifications and pricing arriving at launch.

For Indian consumers, Techtober is less about sheer launch volume and more about clear hardware upgrades. Bigger batteries, high-resolution cameras, brighter displays and powerful chipsets are set to dominate the month. Confirmed pricing, sale dates and launch offers will ultimately shape how these smartphones stack up across different segments.
