Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and Find X8s+: Design
Oppo has recently unveiled the design details of its upcoming Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and Find X8s+ smartphones. Official teasers showcase the devices in multiple color variants, all featuring a centrally placed hole-punch cutout on the display and ultra-slim bezels. At the back, the teaser images reveal a circular camera module bearing Hasselblad branding at the center, with the flash positioned in the top-left corner of the rear panel.
The Find X8 Ultra will sport a flat display and share a design language similar to the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models. Notably, all three models appear to skip the alert slider in favor of a single side button.
As for color options, the Find X8 Ultra is said to come in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, and Morning Light colour options. The Find X8s will be available in Cherry Blossom Pink, Moonlight White, Island Blue, and Hoshino Black. Meanwhile, the Find X8s+ is likely to be offered in Moonlight White, Hoshino Black, and Hyacinth Purple (all names translated from Chinese).
Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and Find X8s+: Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Find X8 Ultra is tipped to have a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED LTPO flat panel with Dolby Vision and PWM dimming. It's expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 8 Elite chip paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. On the software front, the phone will run on Android 15 with ColorOS on top.
Moreover, the Ultra variant is expected to pack a dual-cell 6,100mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W magnetic wireless charging. For imaging, there will be a quad camera setup including a 50MP Sony LYT-900 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and two separate periscope cameras (3X and 6X optical zoom), capable of up to 120X digital zoom. Other features will likely include a 32MP selfie camera, an IP68/IP69 rating, and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor. It's also expected to measure 163.09 x 76.8 x 8.78mm in dimensions and weigh 226 grams.
On the other hand, both the Oppo Find X8s and Find X8s+ will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip. The standard Find X8s model will feature a 6.3-inch display, while the Oppo Find X8s+ will have a larger 6.59-inch screen, according to the Digital Chat Station.
The company already confirmed the bezels on the Oppo Find X8s series are just 1.25mm on all sides, and the body is 7.73mm thick, weighing just 179g. Even with that slim profile, it reportedly launching with a 5700mAh battery. The Find X8s+ may pack a slightly larger 6000mAh battery.
For imaging, both the Find X8s and Find X8s+ are tipped to offer a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. Rumour suggests they will also include a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP selfie camera. Moreover, they are expected to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and 80W wired / 50W wireless charging. Lastly, they will also come with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra and Find X8s Series: Expected Price and Launch
