Upcoming Phones in August 2025: Pixel 10 Series, OPPO K13 Turbo Series, Vivo V60, and More
Update 3: A landing page for new Realme P series smartphones recently appeared on Flipkart. According to reports, the company is unveiling the Realme P4 Pro in India this month, possibly targeting the mid-range gaming segment. Meanwhile, Infinix is gearing up to launch the Hot 60i 5G in India. It is expected to be priced under ₹10,000 when it launches later this month via Flipkart.
Update 2: We've been tipped that TECNO could launch a new Spark Go 5G smartphone sometime in August. Based on the brand's previous Spark Go models, we might see some improvements in the battery and camera departments.
Update 1: Vivo has officially confirmed to launch the Vivo Y400 5G on August 4th. Also, Xiaomi has confirmed to launch the Redmi 15 5G on August 19th.
July was a loaded month for smartphone releases. We saw Samsung unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and the more affordable Z Flip 7 FE. Nothing launched the Phone (3), its first real flagship contender. OnePlus came through with the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5. Vivo, OPPO, and others brought out their heavy hitters, too.
Now, August might feel a bit quieter than July, but there’s still a solid batch of smartphones lined up for launch. Let’s dive in.

Google Pixel 10 Series
Google is going all-in this year. The Pixel 10 lineup will include four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All four are launching globally on August 20, and India is on the roadmap.
The base Pixel 10 is expected to bring a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a new 10.8MP periscope lens with 5x zoom. It will run on the new Tensor G5 chip with 12GB RAM and a 6.3-inch OLED panel. A 4,970mAh battery is expected to power the device with Android 16 out of the box.

The Pro models will step things up with 16GB RAM and a more capable triple-camera array: 50MP main, 48MP telephoto, and 48MP ultrawide. The Pro XL will have a larger footprint, while the Pro Fold will add an outer 6.4-inch display, IP68 dust and water resistance (first for a foldable), and both wired and wireless charging support. Price-wise, expect them to range from ₹79,999 for the base Pixel 10 to ₹1,79,999 for the foldable.

Vivo V60 Likely Coming August 12
Vivo has started teasing the V60 for India, and according to Smartprix, it’s pegged for an August 12 launch. The phone appears to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which dropped earlier in China.
You’re looking at a 6.67-inch Quad-Curved 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The battery is a big talking point here—6,500mAh with 90W fast charging. The phone is expected to remain under the ₹40,000 mark.

Vivo is also co-developing the V60’s camera setup with ZEISS. There’s a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 3x periscope shooter with 100x digital zoom. And yes, a 50MP front camera is expected too. It’ll arrive in Moonlit Blue, Auspicious Gold, and Mist Gray colorways.
OPPO K13 Turbo Series
OPPO is prepping to launch the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro in India, following their Chinese debut. There’s no date yet, but teasers have already begun, and we should see an official reveal within the first week or two of August.

The K13 Turbo runs on the Dimensity 8450 chip, while the Pro version upgrades to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both phones offer up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Expect a flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera, and a 16MP selfie sensor. There’s also a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and, interestingly, a built-in fan for thermal control. Prices are expected to start around ₹25,000 to ₹30,000.
Vivo T4 Pro Tipped for Mid-August
According to an unnamed source by Beebom, the Vivo T4 Pro could also drop in August. It’ll sit between the T4R (launching July 31) and the previously launched T4 Ultra.

The expected specs include a 6.74-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP + 50MP + 10MP triple camera setup, and a 5,700mAh battery with fast charging. Pricing should land under ₹30,000.
Vivo Y400
Vivo is launching the Y400 in Indonesia on August 4, and it’s expected to arrive in India later in the month. The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, 50MP Sony IMX852 dual rear camera, and a hefty 6,000mAh battery.

Vivo is also throwing in a bunch of AI-based tools like AI Notes Summary and Circle to Search. IP68 and IP69 ratings make this one of the more rugged budget options expected to arrive around ₹20,000.
Samsung Galaxy A17
Samsung hasn’t confirmed a date, but the Galaxy A17 5G’s support page has gone live in India. Rumors point to a 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP camera with OIS, and Android 15 out of the box.

It might also be the first A1X series phone to get six years of OS updates. Given Samsung’s pattern, this launch could sneak into the early days of August.
Lava Agni 4 Targeting Second Week of August
Lava is preparing to launch the Agni 4 in India, possibly by the second week of August. Leaks suggest a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, and a 7,000mAh battery.

The leaked design looks cleaner this time around, with flat edges and a dual-camera setup, ditching the mini AMOLED screen seen in the Agni 3. Pricing might land near ₹25,000.
Phones Launching This Week
Redmi 15
Xiaomi is teasing a new phone launch on Amazon for July 29, though the name hasn’t been confirmed yet. Based on leaks and recent renders, it’s widely believed to be the Redmi 15.

If that’s the case, we’re likely looking at a budget device featuring a 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD display, a 108MP main camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. Other rumored specs include a 7,000mAh battery, 33W charging support, and Android 15 with HyperOS 2.
The phone is also expected to arrive in three colors—purple, gold, and black. We’ll get full confirmation once the official launch happens tomorrow at 12 PM.
Motorola G86 Power
Motorola is bringing the G86 Power 5G to India on July 30. While the global version used the Dimensity 7300, the Indian model will feature the newer 7400 chipset (though it’s just a rebranded Dimensity 7300).

The phone comes with a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6,720mAh battery. You also get a 50MP + 8MP rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie cam. It’s IP68/69 certified and runs Android 15.
Vivo T4R 5G
Rounding out the week is the Vivo T4R, launching on July 31. Vivo has confirmed a sub-₹20,000 price and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip. It’ll feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 camera, 32MP selfie camera, and support for 4K video on both sides.

Other rumored specs include a 5,700mAh battery, 90W charging, and a 120Hz AMOLED panel.
August may not be as packed as July, but there’s still plenty to look forward to—especially if you’re eyeing a new phone. Whether you’re after a flagship like the Pixel 10 or a budget option like the rumored Redmi 15, next month offers something for just about every kind of buyer.
