ZTE Small Fresh 4 Announced: Specs, Features, Price, Competition and More

ZTE has announced a new mid-range smartphone called Small Fresh 4 in its homeland China priced at 1,090 Yuan (approx. Rs 11,000). This device will be out on sale in the country by the end of this month.

As of now, ZTE has not announced anything related to the global availability of the ZTE Small Fresh 4 smartphone, but we can expect the device to make its way into the Indian market in the coming months.

2.5D curved glass screen

The ZTE Small Fresh 4 smartphone boasts a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p display that features the 2.5D curved glass coating on top.

Octa-core processor makes it a powerhouse

There is a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor operating under its hood making the ZTE phone a powerhouse. There is 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded further using a micro SD card.

Camera combo sounds decent

The ZTE Small Fresh 4 features a 13 MP main snapper at its back with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF and there is a 5 MP front-facer with a wide-angle lens of 160 degrees that can be used for selfies.

4G LTE is supported

The ZTE smartphone is packed with connectivity features including 4G LTE for superfast connectivity, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro USB. It is powered by a 2,450 mAh battery that should be providing a decent backup to the phone.

Other features

The other goodies on board the ZTE Small Fresh 4 include a 2,450 mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with the company's UI - MiFavor 3.5 UI. There is a fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone for secure unlocking.

Competition

In India, if the ZTE phone is priced in the mid-range segment, it will compete with devices such as Moto G4 Plus, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and others with similar features and pricing.
