Micromax Canvas 2 Gets Jelly Bean Upgrade, While Canvas HD Shipping Delayed Until March End
It seems like Canvas HD is facing a tough time in making its way into the market. Back in February, leading smartphone vendor Micromax launched Canvas HD, its high-end phablet at Rs 13,990. The device was announced online initially and achieved new heights in marking a record sales of selling over 9000 units in 24 hours.
Since then, there has been no information from the manufacturer on when the ordered Canvas HD units would be shipped to the consumers or on when the handset will be made available across the retail stores in the nation.
On contacting an inside source from Micromax, Gizbot has once again confirmed that the the company is focused in clearing the pending stocks with Snapdeal, which is the sole retailer to sell Canvas HD. Once these stocks are cleared, Micromax will open the retail availability of Canvas HD, which is to take place by the end of this month tentatively.
