Save the date for the first look of Essential Phone.

The Essential Phone does exist and we know that as the device was announced by the company on May 31. At the time of its announcement, Andy Rubin promised that the smartphone will be launched in a week or two after its official unveiling. However, the device has still not made its way into the market despite the fact that it has been two months since its launch.

Essential Phone to be showcased on August 25

A few days back, the officials at Essential have confirmed that the Essential Phone is already under mass production and that they are in plans to announce when the same will go on sale. This announcement appears to be pegged for August 25 at 6 PM.

We say so as Essential has sent out invites suggesting that they will host an event on August 25 in Los Angeles, the United States to showcase the device. At this event, people can see and try the Essential Phone, claims a report by Droid-life.

As of now, it remains unclear on whether the event will be a press conference will all the tech media people or just a sort of a consumer-only gathering. Leaving the event aside, it is important for us to know when the Essential Phone will be launched.

In the previous reports, we have seen the camera samples of the Essential Phone showing the quality of the camera that this smartphone will arrive with. Also, there are reports that the device will be launched in select markets in the coming months. We need to await for more confirmation from the company regarding the release of this smartphone.
