Leaked OnePlus 13 Images Show Off a Sleek New Look for the Flagship

There's been a lot of chatter about the upcoming OnePlus 13, and now, thanks to leaked images on Weibo, we're getting a clearer picture. While the design still carries some similarities to the OnePlus 12, key refinements give it a more polished, premium feel, hinting that OnePlus has focused on elevating the overall aesthetic of its new flagship.

A Floating Camera Island and a New Home for Hasselblad

The OnePlus 13 introduces a round camera island on the back, which is now entirely separated from the side frame of the phone. This change is a departure from the OnePlus 12's camera design, which featured a raised collar around the camera island connected to the frame. While the overall design remains somewhat similar to the OnePlus 12 (review), the new layout offers a sleeker, flatter look.

In addition to this, the iconic Hasselblad logo has been repositioned. Instead of being part of the camera module, the 'H' logo now sits to the right of the camera island, accompanied by a decorative metallic line beneath it. This subtle change emphasizes the branding while keeping the back of the phone clean and modern.

Leaked images also suggest that the OnePlus 13 could come in two color options: a classic grey variant and a light silver or cyan model.

Powerful Hardware Under the Hood

At the heart of the OnePlus 13 will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Qualcomm's latest processor that is set to debut soon. This SoC is expected to provide a significant performance boost, especially when paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, as rumored.

The phone will also feature a 6.82-inch 2K 120Hz LTPO display from BOE, promising vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. Running Android 15-based OxygenOS in global markets, the device will be packed with features, including an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and the familiar alert slider.

High-End Camera Setup

The OnePlus 13 is expected to continue its focus on cameras, offering a trio of advanced sensors. The primary camera will reportedly feature a 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-808 sensor, known for its high-performance imaging capabilities. Accompanying this is an ultrawide camera using Samsung's ISOCELL JN1 sensor, and a 3x zoom periscope telephoto lens with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor.

Massive Battery and Magnetic Wireless Charging

Another key feature of the OnePlus 13 is its battery. The phone is expected to house a large 6000mAh+ battery, which will support 100W wired charging. One of the most interesting additions is the support for magnetic wireless charging, a feature that OnePlus users have been eagerly awaiting.

Official Reveal on the Horizon

With the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit having concluded on October 21st, an official announcement for the OnePlus 13 shouldn't be far off.
