MIUI 11 India Launch Slated For October 16 Alongside Redmi Note 8 Pro
Xiaomi announced its latest iteration of MIUI 11, which was announced last month in China along with the Mi MIX Alpha and Mi 9 Pro 5G. Today, the company has officially confirmed the global launch of the MIUI 11.

As per the official tweet, MIUI 11 will be launched in India on October 16 alongside the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Well, this information has been posted by the official MIUI India Twitter handle with the date 16.10.2019 clearly mentioned along with the #MIUI hashtag. Even the video shows MIUI 11 is coming soon.
MIUI 11 Features
MIUI 11 brings new optimizations and changes to the custom ROM. It brings a new optimized modern UI with content viewing in focus. The major design changes include the new Red Dot design awards for the new visual design as well as sound effects. Notably, it is touted that Xiaomi is the first smartphone brand to get a first-ever design award.
Furthermore, MIUI 11 brings a revamped visual design with a brand-new font dubbed Milan Pro. The company also introduces the world's first dynamic font scaling feature. It comes with new dynamic sound effects resembling ambient sounds from nature.
There is a redesigned AOD, which helps enhance the individual's requirements with a constantly changing kaleidoscope on the lock screen. It has a breathing notification that can be shown as an animation when users have the display turned off. It is also possible for Xiaomi smartphone users to customize the slogan on the lock screen.
Redmi Note 8 Pro India Launch
Recently, it was confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be launched in India on October 16. Well, this smartphone comes with a 64MP quad-camera setup at its rear with the four lenses positioned vertically at the center of the rear panel. Notably, this smartphone was the world's first phone to feature the MediaTek Helio G90T processor.

Given that the India launch of the MIUI 11 will happen on October 16, which is just a few days from now, we can expect the company to reveal more details in the form of teasers. For now, it remains to be known if all the features seen in the global version of the custom ROM will be present in the Indian version.
