Motorola Edge 50 Fusion Launching in India at 12 noon Today: Check Expected Price, Confirmed Specs

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is set to make its debut in India later today. To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion made its international debut last month alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion features a Snapdragon chipset, an OLED display, a sizeable battery with fast charging support, a dual-camera setup, and an IP68 rating. To recall, the Moto X50 Ultra is also releasing in China today as a rebranded Edge 50 Ultra.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is making its debut in India later today at 12 noon. Following the launch, the Edge 50 Fusion will go on sale through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and other leading retailers. It will be the second Edge 50 series smartphone in India, following the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.

To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion price in Europe starts from €399 (roughly Rs 36,200). We expect the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion price in India to fall between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000, excluding any bank discounts or early bird offers.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be offered in Forest Blue (Plastic), Marshmallow Blue (Vegan Leather), and Hot Pink (Vegan Leather Suede) color options. Flipkart has set up a dedicated page for the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, revealing its specifications.

The Edge 50 Fusion also sports a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel boasts a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For optics, the Edge 50 Fusion gets a 50 MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.88 aperture and a 13 MP ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro camera. Up front, there's a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The handset runs Android 14-based Hello UX on top.

It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging support over a USB Type-C port. Motorola's upcoming mid-range smartphone also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmost support. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
