Motorola One Hyper To Launch With 64MP Camera And A Pop-Up Selfie Camera
Motorola has already unveiled a bunch of smartphones under its One lineup including the One Macro, One Vision, and the One Zoom. Recently there were leaks and speculations surrounding the company's first pop-up selfie camera smartphone. The latest leak confirms that the device will be called the Motorola One Hyper.
Yet Another Camera Centric Motorola
According to leaks, the Motorola One Hyper will be a camera-centric smartphone with a 64MP primary lens. The phone is likely to use the Samsung GW-1 sensor that is being used on devices like the Realme XT and the Redmi Note 8 Pro. For selfies, the device will have a 32MP pop-up selfie camera.
The Motorola One Hyper will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The phone will bestow a 6.39-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution offering an almost bezel-less feel, thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. On the software front, the phone is likely to ship with Android 10 and might also get Android One certification.
A 3,600 mAh battery will power the smartphone possibly with fast charging support via a USB Type-C port. The phone is likely to retain a 3.5mm headphone jack with dual nano-SIM card slots.
Launch Date And Pricing
As of now, there is no official word about the launch of the Motorola One Hyper. Considering the leaks, the smartphone is likely to go live by the end of 2019. As per the pricing, the smartphone is likely to cost anywhere between $300 to $400.
Considering the leaked specs-sheet, the Motorola One Hyper seems like a great mid-tier smartphone with camera-centric hardware. The phone will face tough competition from devices like the Realme XT and Redmi Note 8 Pro, especially in markets like India and China.
