Motorola will launch its first foldable smartphone -- the Motorola RAZR on November 14th in the US. The company has been teasing the device for quite some times. And, now just hours before the official launch, the device has been spotted on the FCC documentation site with a bunch of images that confirm the overall design and form-factor of the Motorola RAZR.

According to the listing, the new Motorola RAZR looks a lot like Droid Razer with a thick bezel at the bottom that houses a fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C Port. The main display is foldable (which is on the inside) and the phone also has a secondary display with a primary camera on the outside. There is also a big notch on the main display that houses the selfie camera and an earpiece.

The bottom half of the Motorola RAZR has a textured panel with a Motorola and RAZR branding. Plus, the power and the volume keys are on the right side of the smartphone.

Motorola RAZR Specifications

Unlike the Galaxy Fold, the Motorola RAZR will be a mid-tier smartphone based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710 SoC. The smartphone will be available with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB onboard storage.

The smartphone is likely to run on Android 9 Pie OS with near-stock UI. Additionally, the smartphone is likely to receive an Android 10 update in the near future. A 2,730 mAh battery is likely to power the smartphone, which seems a bit low.

Pricing And Availability

It is speculated that the Motorola RAZR will be priced in the vicinity of $1,500 for the base variant (approx Rs. 1,00,000). The smartphone is likely to go on sale in the select markets by the end of 2019 and the phone might make its way to India by early 2020.
