Motorola Teases New Smartphone Launch in India, Triple Camera Setup Teased

Motorola is gearing up for yet another smartphone launch in India. After releasing the Moto G96 5G earlier this month, the company has shared a new teaser on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, hinting at an upcoming device.

While the name remains undisclosed, the teaser video reveals a triple rear camera module, an LED flash, and a Neon color variant. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right edge.

Speculations suggest this could be the Moto G86 5G or Moto G56 5G, but no official confirmation has been made.

A Quick Look Back at the Moto G96 5G

Motorola’s recently launched Moto G96 5G introduced several notable features for a mid-range device. It includes a 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and peak 1600 nits brightness. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the display also supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and has a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The device runs on Android 15 and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Motorola has committed to one Android OS update and three years of security updates for the phone.

The Moto G96 5G features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor with OIS, alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front camera setup includes a 32MP selfie shooter. It houses a 5500mAh battery with support for 33W TurboPower charging.

Additional highlights include IP68 water and dust resistance, Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and support for 13 5G bands. Features like ThinkShield 3.0, Moto Secure, and Smart Connect are also included for improved usability and security.
