Nokia 8, HMD's flagship smartphone is all set to be launched today in India at an event in New Delhi at 11:30 AM. Hours ahead of the launch event, the smartphone has been listed on Amazon India.

The listing not only shows that the smartphone will be exclusive to the online retailer Amazon India as the Nokia 6 but also confirms the pricing of the smartphone. The listing as seen in the screenshot above shows that the Nokia 8 will be priced at Rs. 36,999, which is relatively lesser than the expected pricing of the flagship smartphone. Also, it shows 'Notify Me' for the interested users to get the information related to the smartphone's availability.

For now, we can expect the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Nokia 8 to be launched in the country. There is no word regarding the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space but we cannot expect the same to be launched anytime soon as it is expected to be launched in October.

To recall, the Nokia 8 boasts of a unibody design and is made using 6000 series aluminum. The device has the IP54 rating that makes it splash proof. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and can be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo as the same is under testing. The smartphone flaunts a 5.3-inch 2K LCD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and employs a Snapdragon 835 SoC.

The imaging aspects comprise of a dual 13MP setup with RGB and monochrome sensors with Carl Zeiss branding. The rear camera comes with dual-tone LED flash and laser auto focus. Up front, there is a 13MP selfie camera on board with support for 4K video recording just like the main camera. The highlight of the Nokia 8 is the bothies feature that lets users click photos and videos from both the front and rear cameras at the same time. The device has 4G VoLTE, a 3090mAh battery and Bluetooth 5.0.
