Nothing Phone (2) Spotted on BIS Site, to Launch Soon in India
The Nothing Phone (2) has made its way to the BIS certification site, hinting at an imminent launch in India. The smartphone will arrive as the successor to the Nothing Phone (1), which debuted last year. The Phone (2) will likely launch in the latter half of 2023.
The Nothing Phone (2), bearing the model number AIN065, was spotted on the BIS website by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. Just last month, the phone was reported to feature the model number A065. It's quite likely that the "IN" tag seen on the BIS website refers to the Indian version of the smartphone.

Nothing Phone (2) Rumored Features
While the BIS listing doesn't reveal any specs about the upcoming Nothing Phone (2), some details have already been leaked. According to previous reports, the smartphone will likely be equipped with an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor. Some reports suggest that it will get a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
In addition, we can expect the Nothing Phone (2) to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device could also include support for virtual RAM, which will enhance its storage capabilities.
As for the display, the Nothing Phone (2) could feature an AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution. The panel could get an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is also said to get an in-display fingerprint scanner.
According to speculations, the Nothing Phone (2) will get wireless charging, just like its predecessor. It could also get a 5,000mAh battery, which will be an upgrade from the Phone (1)'s 4,500mAh battery. The smartphone will likely boot Android 13-based Nothing OS out of the box.
While Nothing hasn't divulged any details about the phone, the brand's CEO Carl Pei has stated that the Phone (2) will be more premium compared to its predecessor. We can expect the upcoming smartphone to inherit the Phone (1)'s Glyph interface system and transparent design.
