OnePlus Ace 5 Series Launch Confirmed: Pro Variant Could Feature Snapdragon 8 Elite

OnePlus has officially confirmed the upcoming Ace 5 series, which will debut in China as the successor to the Ace 3 lineup. Interestingly, the company has chosen to skip the Ace 4 series entirely, a decision likely influenced by cultural superstitions surrounding the number four in China. This latest lineup, expected to launch in December, promises significant advancements over its predecessors.

According to OnePlus China President Louis Lee, the Ace 5 series represents a leap forward in performance, positioning it "a generation ahead" of competing devices in the same category. While the exact global launch date has not been confirmed, reports suggest the Ace 5 could be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R for international markets in January.
