New OnePlus Ace 6 Series Leak Hints at 165Hz Display, Massive 7,800mAh Battery, and More
A new leak has surfaced around the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 series, revealing potential specs and a few design details for what could be OnePlus' next big release in China.
The information, shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, builds on earlier rumors and suggests that the phones-likely the Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro-may carry forward OnePlus' split-spec approach while doubling down on performance and battery life.
What the Leak Reveals
The tipster claims that one of the Ace 6 series models will feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a high 165Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. That alone signals a flagship-grade screen tuned for fluid interactions and gaming. The phone will reportedly include a metal middle frame, although it's still unclear whether it will carry IP68 water and dust resistance.
On the inside, both devices are said to use Snapdragon 8-series chipsets, with the Ace 6 likely powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and the Ace 6 Pro tipped to debut the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which is expected to be Qualcomm's next high-end chip. If true, that would position the Pro model as one of the earliest adopters of this next-gen silicon.
Another key detail is the battery. One of the models-possibly the Pro-is said to pack a massive 7,800mAh unit, making it significantly larger than the batteries in most modern flagships.
Global Availability: Will It Launch Outside China?
Historically, OnePlus has limited its Ace series to China, with some models later rebranded and launched in international markets. For instance, the OnePlus Ace 5 eventually arrived as the OnePlus 12R in India and other regions.
Following that pattern, there's speculation that the Ace 6 may show up globally as the OnePlus 15R, while the Ace 6 Pro might stay exclusive to China.
Final Thoughts
If the leaks are accurate, the OnePlus Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro are shaping up to be spec-heavy contenders, at least in the Chinese market.
With a powerful Snapdragon 8-series chip, a high-refresh display, and a battery that crosses the 7,000mAh mark, OnePlus appears to be focusing on gaming and performance users.
