Oppo is all set to launch a new color variant of the A9 2020 in India. Now, it seems to have dropped the pricing of two of its smartphones permanently in India. It is said that the price cut is applicable to both the online and offline purchases of these devices.

A report by 91mobiles suggests that the Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo Reno 2Z have received a permanent price cut. While several other manufacturers announced discounts and offers on their offerings, Oppo has announced a price cut on two of its devices mentioned above. We say so as the price cut coincides with the Black Friday sale, which is going on in India.
Oppo A9 2020, Oppo Reno 2Z Price Cut
The variant of Oppo A9 2020 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space is available at a discount of Rs. 1,500. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 2Z has received a price cut of Rs. 2,000. Well, the price cut on these smartphones is effective from December 1. As mentioned above, the Oppo A9 2020's new color option, the Vanilla Mint Edition is also available at the discounted pricing.
To be clear, the Oppo A9 2020 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space was launched for Rs. 19,990. Now, it is available for Rs. 18,490 after the price cut. All the color options of the device will be available at the new pricing on both Amazon and offline stores across the country. Notably, there is no price cut on the base variant of the smartphone with 4GB RAM.
On the other hand, Oppo Reno 2Z has got a price cut of Rs. 2,000, which takes its pricing down to Rs. 25,990 from the previous cost of Rs. 27,990. This is the second price cut on the device as it received a price cut of Rs. 2,000 on its launch price of Rs. 29,990 earlier this year.
Should You Buy?
Given that two Oppo smartphones have received a considerable price cut in India, if you wanted to upgrade to one of them, then this could be the right time. Notably, the Reno 2Z is a premium mid-range smartphone featuring a notch-less display and a unique shark-fin pop-up selfie camera module. We believe that a price cut on the premium mid-range device could entice many potential buyers.
