Oppo Find N5 Confirmed to Launch This Month – Set to Be the World’s Slimmest Foldable Phone
Oppo has officially confirmed via a Weibo post that the Find N5 will launch in the next two weeks in China. While the exact date remains undisclosed, speculation suggests a potential unveiling on February 19, 20, or 21.
The Find N5 is expected to push foldable phone design forward, with an ultra-slim profile that could make it the thinnest foldable smartphone yet.

Slimmest Foldable Yet With Cutting-Edge Display
The device is rumored to measure under 9.2mm when folded and around 4mm on one side when open. It will feature an 8-inch 2K inner display designed to reduce screen creases and a flat outer display for a more traditional smartphone feel when folded.
First Foldable With Snapdragon 8 Elite
The Find N5 will be the first foldable to feature the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, promising improved performance and efficiency. The phone is also expected to pack a 5,700mAh battery, with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
Durability and Camera System
With IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings, the Find N5 could set a new standard for water resistance in foldable devices.

On the camera front, Oppo has partnered with Hasselblad for a triple-lens system featuring:
- 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor
- 50MP ultra-wide lens
- 50MP 3x periscope telephoto sensor
Software and Global Availability
Running on ColorOS 15 (based on Android 15), the Find N5 will also debut in a new white edition.
Following its China launch, the Find N5 is expected to roll out to Southeast Asian markets. In regions like the US, Europe, and India, it may be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2.
