Realme India Teases Flagship Smartphone with Periscope Camera: More Details Coming Tomorrow

Realme is gearing up to unveil a new line-up of smartphones in India soon. The smartphone maker recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to tease a new launch.

According to an official post on X, Realme will announce details of an upcoming launch tomorrow (January 2) at 07:30 am IST. Realme only recently teased the launch of a new smartphone with a periscope camera.

Realme 12 Pro Series Possible Launch

The tag line of the image reads, "No Periscope, No Flagship". This suggests that the upcoming Realme smartphone will feature flagship specifications and a periscope camera lens. As of now, there is no information about the phone in question, but rumors suggests that it will be the Realme 12 Pro+.

The Realme 12 Pro series was recently spotted on India's BIS certification website. Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently posted that the Realme 12 Pro+ would be making its global and Indian debut at the end of next month, February 2024.

According to the tipster, the phone is expected to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Apart from the Realme 12 Pro+, the company is also expected to unveil the Realme 12 Pro in India.

Realme GT 5 Pro Possible Launch

The Realme 12 Pro series will succeed last year's Realme 11 Pro line-up, which also included the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+. But given Realme's message has the word 'flagship' in it, we could also be treated to the global debut of the Realme GT 5 Pro.

Realme also recently unveiled a flagship smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a periscope-telephoto camera, titled the "Realme GT 5 Pro". Unlike Realme's number series, the Realme GT 5 Pro is a full-fledged flagship smartphone that will likely compete with devices like the iQOO 12 5G and OnePlus 12 5G.
