Redmi K30 With 60MP Camera To Get Pinkish Color Variant
It's raining leaks for the Redmi K30 -- the upcoming affordable 5G smartphone from Xiaomi. They announced the existence of the Redmi K30 a few months ago and recently confirmed that the device will be unveiled on December 10, probably along with the Redmi K30 Pro.
Now, the company has teased a new variant of the Redmi K30 with a gradient back panel that looks pinkish. It looks like the back of the phone is made using glass with a circular design and a vertical camera setup that houses four camera sensors.
The primary camera setup on the Redmi K30 is quite reminiscent of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with slight changes. It is speculated that the Redmi K30 will be equipped with a 60MP Sony sensor and is likely to be one of the first brands to do so.
Redmi K30 Leaked Specifications
The Redmi K30 is speculated to include a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, protected by 2.5D curved tempered glass. Unlike the Redmi K20, its predecessor will have a pill-shaped cutout at the top right corner of the screen, instead of a pop-up selfie camera.
The smartphone will either be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 with support for 5G network. Similarly, the Pro version will either use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The phone will launch with Android 10 OS with custom MIUI 11 skin on top. Being a 5G phone, it is likely to include additional tweaks to improve networking and capability.
As per the camera unit goes, the phone will be equipped with a 60MP primary sensor, a dedicated telephoto, an ultra-wide angle, and a macro lens. For the selfie camera, the phone is likely to offer a wide-angle and an ultra-wide angle lens with no clarity on the exact resolution of these cameras.
A 4,500 mAh battery is likely to run the show with support for fast charging via a USB Type-C port with a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack. Considering the improvements over its predecessor, the Redmi K30 is expected to cost a bit more than the Redmi K20.
