Vivo V27e India Launch Confirmed: Specs, Features Of Upcoming Midrange Android Phone Leaked

Vivo recently announced that it will launch its V27 series next month. The upcoming series has now been confirmed to include the Vivo V27, Vivo V27e, and the top-end model, Vivo V27 Pro. A new leak suggests the Vivo V27e could be the base or entry-level model in the Vivo V27 series. Let's take a look at the latest details about the midrange Android smartphone from Vivo.

Vivo V27e Specifications and Features Leaked

Vivo will launch the Vivo V27 series early next month. To be precise, the brand will officially announce the smartphones in the series on March 1, 2023, at 12AM. Vivo has already started to tease the devices on its own microsites. The Indian and Malaysian websites of Vivo have confirmed the presence of the Vivo V27 Pro as well as the Vivo V27e variants.

The microsite hints at the overall design and some of the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone from Vivo. However, a new leak has revealed all the hardware details of the Vivo V27e.

A Google Play Console listing of the Vivo V27 Pro recently appeared online. Another listing indicated the Vivo V27e would be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, which is considered a budget gaming chipset. This information has been corroborated in the tweet.

The Vivo V27e could ship with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Since the smartphone will likely have a MediaTek chipset, buyers could get an additional 8GB of virtual RAM.

The tweet also mentions the Vivo V27e will feature a 6.5-inch E4 AMOLED display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a centered punch-hole notch. Being a midrange Vivo smartphone, the phone's screen should have a Full HD+ resolution.

Previous leaks about the Vivo V27 series suggested that the smartphones in the series will have a triple camera setup. The latest leak claims the Vivo V27e will have a 64MP primary camera with OIS support, which will be accompanied by two 2MP camera lenses, one of which could be a monochrome lens and the other for depth sensing. The front-facing camera on the device is tipped to have a 32MP lens.

The Vivo V27e is tipped to feature a 5000mAh battery, with 66W FlashCharge wired fast charging support. Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V27e will flaunt a flat frame design and will weigh 186 grams. The smartphone will have a thickness of just 7.8mm.

The Vivo V27e is also likely to have an IP54 rating, and it should run FunTouchOS 13, which is based on Android 13.

Vivo V27e Launch, Availability In India

The Vivo V27e is tipped to be available in Glory Black and Lavender Purple color options. The smartphone may feature a back panel with color-changing AG Glass technology, similar to Vivo V23 and V25 series smartphones.

Previous leaks suggested that Vivo will commence sale of the V27 series from March 3, 2023, in select regions outside China. It is possible that these devices could appear on Flipkart and on Vivo India's e-store on the same date, suggesting the phone's sale.
