Vivo is gearing up for a major launch in China today. The Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X100s series are set to make their debut in the country, with the former arriving as the top-end smartphone in the series.
The Vivo X100 Ultra will also debut as the first smartphone from the company to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Vivo X100s will be the first in the world to incorporate the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC.

The latest Vivo X100 series launch event is set to take place in China later today at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. You can watch the Vivo X100 series event live on the company's official website and Weibo account.
The latest launch will include the Vivo X100 Ultra, Vivo X100s, and Vivo X100s Pro. The three phones will follow the already released Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, both of which run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 mobile platform.

Vivo X100 Ultra, Vivo X100s Series: What to Expect?
The Vivo X100 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is also rumored to sport a 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could pack a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W wired and 30W wireless fast charging support.
For optics, the Vivo X100 Ultra is expected to feature a primary 50 MP Sony Lytia LYT-900 1-inch sensor, a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 telephoto-periscope shooter, and a 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-600 ultra-wide camera. Up front, the Vivo X100 Ultra could feature a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 camera for selfies.
Moreover, the Vivo X100s is expected to feature the same specifications as the Vivo X100, although it will get a chipset upgrade in the form of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chip.
