Vivo X300, X300 Pro Launching October 13: Official Design and Camera Details Revealed
The wait for Vivo’s next flagship lineup is almost over. The company has started showing off the design of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, with official images released by Huang Tao, Vice President of Product at Vivo. Both phones are set to debut in China on October 13, marking Vivo’s 30th anniversary.

Familiar Design With a Few Tweaks
From the teasers, it’s clear Vivo isn’t straying too far from the X200 series. The X300 and X300 Pro both sport a large circular camera island placed at the center of the back panel. The Pro model gets black and gold finishes, while the standard X300 will come in blue and pink.
Some finer design details stand out. Both phones have their power and volume buttons on the left side, but the X300 Pro adds a single extra button on the right. Vivo is also leaning on what it calls “Eastern-inspired aesthetics,” with cold-sculpted glass, slimmer transitions around the camera module, and colorways like Lucky Color (Black), Easy Blue, Wilderness Brown, and Relaxed Purple.
Imaging Remains the Focus
Photography has long been the core of Vivo’s X series, and that isn’t changing here. Both models will use Vivo’s fourth-generation Zeiss imaging system with dual 200MP lenses. The standard X300 is set to carry a 23mm 200MP main shooter, while the Pro takes things further with an 85mm 200MP APO telephoto camera. The Pro’s camera also has CIPA 5.5-level stabilisation, Zeiss T* coating, and glass designed for better light absorption.
For video, the X300 Pro is shaping up to be the more capable device. It supports 4K 60fps portrait recording, 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR, and even 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video—features typically reserved for high-end video gear.
What’s Inside
Spec leaks suggest the series will debut MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, with the Vivo X300 series rumored to be the first phone powered by it. Vivo has also confirmed that the Pro will include its custom-built Super Sense vibration motor and a proprietary Universal Signal Amplifier chip to improve connectivity. Both phones will run OriginOS 6 out of the box and are paired with Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip.
The display is expected to use BOE’s Q10 Plus panel with brightness that can go as low as 1 nit, giving the phones more flexibility across different lighting conditions.
Looking Ahead to Launch
Vivo has already opened pre-orders in China, and with the official launch date set for October 13, more details should surface in the coming weeks. Given Vivo’s pattern, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the X300 series make its way to other markets later this year.
