Vivo X500 Series Leak Reveals Four Models: Pro Max Tipped With LPDDR6 RAM and 200MP Periscope Camera

Fresh leaks from two separate tipsters have put the Vivo X500 lineup back in focus. Tipster Smart Pikachu has outlined how many models to expect, while Digital Chat Station is back with another round of details, specifically on the Pro Max. Neither set of details is from Vivo officially, and since these come from early engineering prototypes, things could still change before launch.

Four Models in the Lineup

The X500 series is shaping up to be a four-phone family: X500e, X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. That's the confirmed range for now, though the tipster notes that a potential X500s and X500 Ultra could follow in early 2027.

X500 Pro Max: Display

The Pro Max engineering prototype is reportedly running a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel uses LIPO packaging technology, which allows for symmetrical slim bezels on all four sides alongside large rounded corners and a 2.5D flat finish. BOE is tipped as the display supplier.

LPDDR6 RAM

This is the detail that stands out most. The engineering prototype is reportedly equipped with LPDDR6 RAM, which would make the X500 Pro Max one of the first smartphones to adopt the next-generation memory standard. LPDDR6 also hints at the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset under the hood, though Vivo hasn't confirmed the processor yet.

Cameras

The 200MP periscope telephoto lens carries over from previous leaks, this time confirmed to house a large 1/1.4-inch sensor. The primary shooter is a 50MP Sony LYT-838 with LOFIC technology, a feature that improves dynamic range in high-contrast lighting conditions. Rounding out the rear setup is a 50MP IMX8-series ultra-wide camera.

Battery

Vivo is reportedly targeting a battery capacity that starts with the number 8, pointing to something in the 8,000mAh range. The design hasn't been finalised yet, so this could shift before the phone goes into production.
