Besides this, the company has also revealed that it will get the wireless charging module for the Mi 7 from the US tech firm Integrated Device Technology. The price of one unit of the wireless charging module is yet to be revealed by Xiaomi but the module with common configuration is priced at $5 and is available online.

It is the same pricing that was revealed by the previous reports but the company is yet to confirm which model of the wireless charger will be used on the Mi 7. The wireless charging modules offered by Integrated Device Technology varies from 3-watt single direction model to 15-wat bi-directional model. Apparently, it means that the Mi 7 will be compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard with impressive charging speeds.

Not only the wireless charging module but also the RF products of the American company will be used by Xiaomi. This points out that the wireless antennae might be fully compatible with the US wireless bands. Notably, the Xiaomi Mi 7 could be the first flagship device from the company to be sold via the carriers in the US.

The Xiaomi fans in America had to choose to retailers such as Amazon and Gearbest to import the devices and the company is yet to create an official channel for the buyers in the US. Xiaomi has a US portal but it sells only accessories.

From the previous reports, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is confirmed to make use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB RAM. The smartphone is likely to flaunt a 6-inch display with the full-frame design similar to the ones we have seen on Apple iPhone X and Essential Phone. The display is likely to be an OLED panel made by Samsung.

The Mi 7 is said to feature dual 16MP cameras at its rear and is believed to have a rear-facing fingerprint sensor instead of an under-glass fingerprint sensor at the front. There are claims that the company is focusing on a 3D facial recognition feature similar to Face Unlock and Face ID. A 3350mAh battery is likely to be used by the smartphone to keep it turned on.
