You can get Mi Max 2 via both offline or online stores.
In the last week, Xiaomi launched the Mi Max 2 in India at a price point of Rs. 16,999. Soon after its launch, the device was available for purchase as a part of the 3rd Mi Anniversary sale held on July 20 and July 21.
At the launch of the Mi Max 2 in the country, Xiaomi did announce that the second generation phablet will be available via both online and official stores starting today, July 27. Online retailers such as Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall, and TataCliq and offline stores as e-Zone, Poorvika, Sangeetha, etc. will sell the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 from today. The open sale of the phablet debuted at 10 AM.
During the 3rd Mi Anniversary sale, Xiaomi announced that the Mi Max 2 was the hottest selling product followed by the best-sellers Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4.
To refresh on the specifications, the Mi Max 2 features an all metal unibody design despite its price tag of Rs. 16,999. Also, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on board. Being a phablet, the Mi Max successor adorns a 6.44-inch FHD 1080p display. At its heart, the Mi Max 2 is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. While there is a high-end variant in the Chinese market, Xiaomi hasn't announced it for India.
The Mi Max 2 is based on MIUI 8 running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. On the imaging front, the Mi Max 2 features a 12MP main camera with a Sony IMX386 sensor, PDAF, and dual LED flash. Up front, the device features a 5MP selfie snapper. The other goodies on board the Xiaomi phablet include 4G LTE, Dual SIM support, USB Type-C port and a 5300mAh battery supporting Quick Charge 3.0.
