The Nubia Z18 is expected to launch soon in India. The smartphone sports a 5.99-inch FullHD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 that is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU, 6/8 GB RAM and 64/128 GB default memory capacity. In terms of optics, the phone features a dual-camera system at the back. It’s comprised of a 24-megapixel (f/1.6) module and a 16-megapixel (f/1.6) module, complete with OIS, dual-pixel PDAF, and two-tone dual-LED flash. There’s also an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) front-facing shooter for handling selfies and video calls.
Connectivity aspects on board the Nubia Z18 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, 5.0, A2DP, LE, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB OTG, with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Hybrid Dual Sim. It packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3450 mAh Battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, with Nubia 6.0 UI overlay baked on top. Sensors include fingerprint, an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and compass.
The two configurations (available in either Red or Black color) of ZTE Nubia Z18 – 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage – are expected to price about Rs. 29,055 and Rs. 34,451, respectively. Apart from these, there’s a third ‘van Gogh special edition’ that would cost Rs. 37,356. The special edition comes with a back panel adorned with the colors and style of Vincent van Gogh’s famous ‘Starry Night’ oil on canvas.
