Big News for Thursday
As far as Thursday is concerned, the biggest news is the launch of Galaxy Note 2 at the IFA 2012 in Berlin alongside Galaxy Camera, ATIV S, ATIV Tab, ATIV Smart PC and ATIV Smart PC Pro from Samsung. Then comes Sony with a series of product launches – Xperia T, Xperia V, Xperia J, Wi-Fi NEX-5R camera, Premium MDR-1 headphones, ES Series, SRS-BTM8 handbag speaker with NFC, Xperia S Tablet, Vaio Duo 11 and Tap 20.
There were more product launches at the IFA 2012 on Thursday including Dell Windows 8 based tablets, Fujitsu U772 and UH572 in India, HP Ultrabooks based on Windows 8 OS and HTC Desire X smartphone running on Android ICS.
Further, there were other news such as the launch of BigFlix app for Windows Phone platform, Motorola and Intel joint event on September 18, launch of OwnFone, the world's first personalized handset and the withdrawal of the SMS, MMS ban.
