iBall Edu-Slide: 10 Inch Tablet Launched in Wi-Fi and 3G Variant, Price Starts At Rs 30,999

    iBall has recently partnered with one of the country's premier educational institutions in the field of IIT-JEE entrance tests -Bansal Classes, to launch a special edition tablets, called iBall Edu-Slide. According to the company, the tablets come with a customized content for IIT-JEE candidates.

    iBall Edu-Slide: 10 Inch Tablet Launched in Wi-Fi and 3G VariantiBall

     

    The iBall Edu-Slide is actually launched in two variants: one with Wifi only and another, 3G.

    The WiFi variant comes packed with 10.1 inch Full Capacitive Multi-Touch IPS HD display offering 1280x800pixel resolution. It is powered by ARM Cortex A9 Dual Core Processor clocked at 1.5GHz and features a Quad Core Mali 400 Graphic Processor along with 1GB RAM. It runs on latest 4.1 Android Jellybean OS.

    Moving on to camera, one can find a 2.0 MP Rear Camera along with a front facing VGA shooter, the connectivity options remain regular which include: Wi-Fi 802.11 b\g\n, Bluetooth, Micro USB OTG and Host Port, HDMI Port, 3G on Data Card through USB Dongle.

    One can also find an 8GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It also comes with stereo speakers and big 8000 mAh battery.

    The added feature in the tablet is Sigrid Technology, a unique technology that provides an experience to the students similar to a real time classroom. It exactly demonstrates the teacher's way of teaching, with audio and visuals completely in sync. Its revision mode allows students to holistically interact with the content in a never before seen fashion.

    On the other hand, the 3G variant, comes with a similar 10.1 inch IPS HD Screen and same 1280x800pixel resolution but with a 3G SIM slot. It is powered by Cortex A7 1.2 GHz quad core processor coupled with 1 GB DDR3 RAM . The tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS.

     

    Talking about connectivity, the tablet comes with Dual SIM support. Apart from that it features 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b\g\n with Wi-Fi Hotspot , USB, Bluetooth Tethering , Micro USB OTG Port , Micro HDMI Port , Wireless Display and Bluetooth .

    It also houses 8 GB built-in storage which can further expand up to 32GB via microSD. There is a competitive 8 MP rear camera with Auto Focus and flash light along with a front facing VGA shooter and is powered by a 6000mAh Li-ion battery .

    When it comes pricing, the WiFi variant is priced at Rs. 30,999 and the 3G variant will come at Rs. 35,999.
