Samsung is preparing to release its flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series in the latter half of the year. The lineup includes the standard Tab S9, the Tab S9 Plus, and the high-end Tab S9 Ultra, the specifications of which were recently leaked.

This time, the Tab S9 Plus, the middle child of the pack, has leaked in the form of design renders. Let's see what Samsung has in store for the Tab S9 Plus. WolfofTablet furnished the high-quality renders of the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, citing prominent leaker OnLeaks.

The renders show a new rear camera module design that appears to be inspired by the current Galaxy S23 series. Aside from the cameras, there is a long magnetic strip that runs toward the bottom panel of the back panel and houses the S Pen. The renders don't show any antenna lines, but the source says that doesn't mean the real model won't have any.

The upcoming tablet appears to have a secondary sensor on the right bezel. The Galaxy Tab S8 had a single front-facing camera on the right bezel. The secondary sensor could be an ultrawide sensor or a brand-new depth sensor that aids in facial unlock, but at this point, anyone's guess.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus Rumored Specifications

The display size of the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is expected to be the same as that of the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus. This means the Tab S9 Plus will have a 12.9-inch display. The pixel density will be 266 PPI, and the resolution will be 1752 x 2800 pixels.

According to the source, the tablet could include an in-display fingerprint sensor and wireless Samsung DeX support.

The Tab S9 Plus, as reported by OnLeaks, has dimensions of 285.4 x 185.4 x 5.64. The dimensions of the Samsung Tab S8 Plus are 285 x 185 x 5.7 mm. This suggests the Tab S9 Plus will have a more streamlined profile than its predecessor. The tablet has a USB Type-C port and four speakers but no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Previous rumors suggested that the upcoming series would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, OneUI 5.1 on top of Android 13, and an IP67 water and dust resistance rating.
