Airtel Rs. 649 postpaid plan offers 50GB data and unlimited voice calls

Bharti Airtel appears to have reintroduced the Rs. 649 postpaid plan after over a month. When the telecom operator revised the myPlan Infinity postpaid plans, it removed the Rs. 649 plan and offered other postpaid plans priced at Rs. 399, Rs. 499 and Rs. 799 for the subscribers. Now, Airtel has reintroduced this plan with relatively better benefits.

The Rs. 649 plan offers 50GB of data per month and unlimited voice calls without any FUP even on national roaming. The postpaid plan also offers 100 free SMS per day. And, the subscribers who choose the Rs. 649 postpaid plan will get access to Airtel TV, Airtel Secure, which is a device protection scheme, and Airtel Wynk Music.

Besides the above-mentioned benefits, Airtel also offers one free add-on connection with the revised Rs. 649 postpaid plan. Previously, the add-on connections were available starting with the Rs. 799 plan. The Rs. 649 plan comes with one add-on connection and the Rs. 799 postpaid plan comes with two add-on connections. Likewise, the Rs. 1,199 postpaid plan offers three add-on connections.

The add-on connections will let users add a child Airtel postpaid connection to the main account and enjoy similar benefits. Previously, Airtel used to charge Rs. 99 for the add-on connections but now it is offering the same benefits for free. Eventually, the add-on connections can enjoy free voice calls without FUP and the data benefit can be shared between the primary and add-on connections. Also, the subscribers of the Rs. 649 postpaid plan will also get the Amazon Prime subscription for one year worth Rs. 999 for free.
