BSNL Rs. 1,699 Prepaid Plan Revised To Provide 60 Days Additional Validity

State-run telecom operator BSNL seems to be focused on its customers as its recent moves are quite beneficial for subscribers. In one such move, the company has announced that it has extended the validity period of the long-term Rs. 1,699 prepaid plan.

Going by the announcement, this plan will be available for all BSNL subscribers across its operational circles and for all modes of recharge. Notably, this new offer is an extension of the same that was announced last month on account of the festival season.

BSNL Rs. 1,699 Prepaid Plan Validity Extended

Well, as per the new offer, the subscribers of the Rs. 1,699 prepaid plan will get a validity of 425 days. Initially, this plan was launched with a validity of 365 days. Now, it gets two months of additional validity, which takes the revised validity of the plan to 425 days. To be clear, it provides 60 days of additional validity over its regular 365 days time period.

Until October 31, this long-term BSNL prepaid pan was offering a validity of 455 days as it came with 90 days of additional validity over its regular validity on account of the festive season. Now, the current offer is valid only until November 30. So, if you are interested in this plan, then you can recharge within the end of this month.

BSNL Rs. 1,699 Prepaid Plan Benefits

Detailing on its benefits, the BSNL Rs. 1,699 prepaid plan bundles benefits such as unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS throughout its validity period. Also, it offers 3GB of data per day for those who subscribe to the plan this month. Subscribers can get the personalized ring back tones (PRBT) benefit for a period of 365 days and not for the additional validity period.

Is It Better Than Other Plans

Other than BSNL, incumbents such as Reliance Jio and Airtel also offer long-term prepaid plans priced at Rs. 1,699. However, each of these telcos offers different benefits. And, these rivals offer high-speed data and unlimited voice calling benefits, which pushes back BSNL in terms of data speed. However, the BSNL Rs. 1,699 offers an unrivaled validity period of 425 days with the new offer.
