Netflix, Prime, or Swiggy? Jio's New Plans Let You Have Unlimited 5G and Free Subscriptions

Reliance Jio has introduced two new prepaid recharge plans with unlimited 5G data priced at Rs 1,028 and Rs 1,029, respectively. While both plans offer similar benefits in terms of data and calling, the additional benefits differ as the Rs 1,028 plan comes with a Swiggy One Lite subscription. On the other hand, the Rs 1,029 plan bundles a free Amazon Prime Lite subscription.

Both newly announced plans offer 2GB of 4G data/day, unlimited 5G data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for a validity period of 84 days. In addition, both plans include JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud subscriptions.

As noted, the Rs 1,028 plan offers a complimentary Swiggy One Lite subscription for three months which provides benefits worth Rs 600 including 10 free home delivery on food orders above Rs 149, 10 free home delivery on Instamart orders above Rs 199, a 10% discount on Genie deliveries above Rs 60, and more.

Even, customers recharging the Rs 1,028 plan, can get Rs 50 cashback which can be redeemed on subsequent recharges of Rs 1,028. However, people who don't order food online regular basics can go for the Rs 1,029 plan which comes with a free Amazon Prime Lite subscription for 84 days.

Notably, you won't get all the benefits of Amazon Prime from the Lite subscription. It doesn't include Prime Reading, Prime Gaming, Amazon Music, and Amazon Family offers. You can get benefits like early access to Amazon sales, exclusive deals, free one or two-day delivery, and Amazon Prime Videos.

People looking for a free Netflix subscription can consider either Rs 1,299 or Rs 1,799. Telco launched both these prepaid plans back in August offering up to 3GB of 4G data per day along with unlimited 5G data for 84 days. However, the Rs 1,299 Jio prepaid plan offers free access to the Netflix Mobile pack, on the other hand, the Rs 1,799 plan includes the Netflix Basic plan.
