Apple Beats Studio Buds+ Spotted on Amazon Before Formal Announcement

Apple's Beats Studio Buds+ were prematurely published on Amazon, revealing the specs of the upcoming buds. The device was listed on Amazon for $169.95 and is expected to debut on May 18, 2023.

According to the listing, the new Beats Studio Buds+ will get a powerful upgrade when compared to its predecessor, the original Studio Buds. A new transparent design was also spotted on Amazon's page.

Apple Beats Studio Buds+ as Seen on Amazon

Going by the Amazon listing of the Apple Beats Studio Buds+, which has since been taken down, the device appears similar to the Studio Buds which debuted back in 2021.

The new Beats Studio Buds+ inherits the original Studio Buds' stemless design and plastic case. A new transparent option is also available, which is reminiscent of the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds. The device will also come in black and ivory colorways.

The listing indicates that the Studio Buds+ will offer up to 36 hours of music playback. That's a big upgrade over the Studio Buds which came with 24 hours of battery life. The new Apple earbuds will also feature a USB Type-C charging case.

The Studio Buds+ will feature three times larger microphones with changes in the air vent design. Compared to the original Studio Buds, the upcoming Buds+ will have up to 1.6 times the active noise cancellation.

Additionally, the Studio Buds+ will come in varied ear tip sizes such as XS, S, M, and L. The buds will come with an IPX4-rating for water resistance. The device is compatible with Apple as well as Android devices.

The Apple Studio Buds+ also feature one-touch pairing, Hey Siri, automatic device switching, and Find My. In addition, it gets spatial audio support for immersive sound. It will also have a Transparency mode that's twice as good as the Studio Buds.

The Studio Buds+ were previously seen in iOS 16.4 code snippets, and later made its way to the FCC website. Although Apple hasn't announced the device yet, it's clear from the Amazon listing that the earbuds will launch on May 18.
