Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro With 1.5-Inch AMOLED Display Announced

Huawei has announced the Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro, alongside the Huawei P60 Pro and the Mate X3 foldable at its big launch event in Munich. The Watch 4 series succeeds the Huawei Watch 3 series which debuted last year.

Huawei Watch 4, Watch 4 Pro Specifications

The Huawei Watch 4 Pro features a big 48mm titanium case, while the vanilla model gets a slightly smaller 46mm stainless case. Both watches feature a circular dial and a physical button.

The Watch 4 Pro sports a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display. Both smartwatches feature an Always on display as well as a slew of planetary watch faces. The Watch 4 series are rated 5 ATM for water resistance.

Both smartwatches come with a host of health features, such as ECG, SpO2 measurement, heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, arterial stiffness detection, skin temperature measurement, and sleep tracking.

The Huawei Watch 4 series also provides a consolidated report of all the aforementioned health parameters, condensing it into a one-minute "seven-point health overview." Additionally, the wearable features an AI running coach, one-tap fall detection for emergency assistance, and a "route back" function.

For fitness enthusiasts, the Watch 4 series offers over 100 workout modes. Both smartwatches are equipped with an integrated microphone and speaker. It also gets e-SIM support and Bluetooth calling. The Watch 4 Pro comes with a built-in GPS as well, a feature the vanilla model lacks.

Huawei claims that the Watch 4 Pro can last for up to 4.5 days of typical usage and up to 21 days in the ultra-long battery life mode. Meanwhile, the Watch 4 can reportedly last for up to 3 days of typical usage and up to 14 days in the ultra-long battery life mode.

Huawei Watch 4, Watch 4 Pro Price, Availability

The Huawei Watch 4 price starts at €450 (around ₹40,500) for the black fluoroelastomer strap version. Meanwhile, the Watch 4 Pro costs €700 (around ₹63,000) for the titanium strap option and €550 (around ₹49,500) for the brown leather strap version.

The Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro will be available for pre-orders from June 8, 2023. The smartwatches will finally go on sale from June 22.
