Lenovo ThinkCentre M71e tower PC

Lenovo has always excelled when it comes to manufacturing PCs for business purposes. Lenovo’s PCs are one of the best in quality and performance. Lenovo’s latest product is ThinkCentre M71e Tower PC, designed for small time business purposes – basically an office PC. Built with a classy design, ThinkCentre M71e has more to it when compared to an ordinary business class machine.

Its speed, surprisingly, exceeds your expectations and it also comes with good connectivity options. The technical specifications of Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M71e Tower PC are pretty impressive.

Specifications of ThinkCentre M71e

  • Quad Core Intel 3.3 GHz Core-i5 2500 processor

  • DDR3 4GB SDRAM

  • AMD Radeon HD 5450 Graphics Processing Unit of 512 MB memory

  • 500 GB SATA Hard disk drive

  • DVD Burner

  • 4 USB 2.0 Ports

  • Gigabit Ethernet port

  • DVI port

  • DisplayPort

  • Analog audio ports

  • SD Card reader

Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M71e Tower PC is not a high end machine, but it can serve its purpose decently. The PC is quite easy to assemble. The cabinet has 3 built-in fans for efficient cooling. If you are wondering that this number of fans would make some noise, you are wrong. The noise is very low and hardly noticeable.

The processor of the machine itself has an Intel HD 3000 graphics processing Unit embedded. But if you require a display port, you have to choose the configuration with the AMD Radeon HD 5450 external GPU. But mind you that this AMD Radeon Graphics accelerating unit isn’t impressively fast. It’s just a decent standard GPU which offers impressive graphics to videos and images in your computer.

ThinkCentre M71e Tower is a very good performer as it has been tested with strenuous tasks which are usually done in offices such as multiple web browsing, photo editing, open email and chat sessions, document creation and manipulation etc. Lenovo apparently has done a good job with this PC because it passed the test with very much ease.

ThinkCentre M71e Tower offers good connectivity options with USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet posts and even PS/2 reportedly. But, as mentioned earlier, this isn’t a high end machine. Too bad it lacks a USB 3.0 port, which would have made us give it a higher rating. Apart from the mediocre graphics and lack of USB 3.0 ports, we couldn’t find anything in M71e Tower that would disappoint you. For the usual office tasks, this PC is a good option. The price of Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M71e Tower PC is not available currently.
