Soon after the announcement by Mediatek officials that around 100 smartphone will be powered by their latest Helio P10 SoC, a mysterious upper-mid range Gionee device has surfaced touting the exact same SoC.
Dubbed the Gionee W909, the details of the unknown device got recorded while it was going through the paces of Geekbench. The Geekbench database reveals that the smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with the company's own Amigo UI interface on top.
Apart from the Helio P10 chip, the Gionee W909 comes with a whopping 4GB of RAM thereby attaining a score of 818 (Single Core) and 3103(Multicore) in Geekbench. For those unaware the Mediatek Helio P10 SoC or the MT6755 comes with 8 Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz each.
