iQOO 15R India Launch Set for February 24: Check Expected Specs and Price
The iQOO 15R finally has a confirmed launch date in India. After the Amazon microsite went live a few days back, iQOO has now officially confirmed that the smartphone will debut on February 24.

With just weeks to go, the iQOO 15R is shaping up as a feature-heavy device positioned in the premium segment, with performance, display, and battery emerging as key focus areas.
A Flagship-Level Display and Performance Setup
The iQOO 15R is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is said to support up to 1800 nits of high brightness mode and 4320Hz PWM dimming.
On the performance side, the phone is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with a Q2 gaming chip. Memory and storage are expected to include LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, while graphics duties are handled by the Adreno 829 GPU.
The device is also expected to ship with Android 16 and Origin OS 6.
Cameras, Battery, and Build
Camera hardware is another area where iQOO appears to be pushing upgrades. The rear setup is expected to include a 200MP Samsung S5KHP5 sensor with OIS, alongside an 8MP secondary camera. On the front, a 32MP camera is tipped for selfies and video calls.
Battery capacity is listed at 7600mAh, paired with 100W wired charging via USB Type-C. If these numbers hold true, battery life could be one of the phone’s defining traits.
Other expected features include IP68 and IP69 ratings, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a metal frame with a glass back. The phone is also said to measure 7.9mm in thickness and weigh 202 grams.
Expected Price and Positioning
According to tipster Debayan Roy, the iQOO 15R is expected to be priced around ₹40,000 in India.
If that estimate is accurate, the iQOO 15R could sit in a competitive zone where performance-focused hardware meets premium features, making it relevant for users who want flagship-like specs without stepping into ultra-premium pricing.
