Dell Launches New Alienware m18 and x16 R1 Laptops in India

Dell has launched a couple of new Alienware laptops in India, the m18 and x16 R1. The brand claims that the m18 is Aliennware's most powerful laptop yet, powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core processor, which is accompanied by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU.

Both gaming laptops were first introduced at CES 2023 earlier this year. The Alienware m18 and x16 R1 sport the Legend 3.0 design language with softer edges and improved hinges.

Dell Alienware m18 and x16 R1: Features

Dell's Alienware m18 and x16 laptops feature taller displays with an aspect ratio of 16:10. While the m18 has a QHD display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, the x16 features a QHD+ panel with a 240Hz refresh rate.

Both laptops feature ComfortView Plus, which is said to reduce the impact of blue light, in turn minimizing eye strain. The devices also support Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio. Additionally, the new Alienware laptops are equipped with an FHD webcam for video calls.

As mentioned earlier, the Alienware m18 and x16 feature a 13th Gen Intel Core processor, which is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU. The devices also feature a redesigned Alienware Command Center 6.0 to monitor system performance.

The laptops feature Alienware's Cryo-tech thermal design which uses a vapor chamber, four fans, and seven heat pipes to reportedly improve the airflow by 25 percent. The brand claims that an "Element 31" thermal material covers the CPU and GPU for heat dissipation.

Dell states that the Alienware x16 is the first Alienware laptop to get the new AlienFX scanner, Rainbow lighting, and Loop mods. As for audio, the laptop sports a six-speaker configuration which includes two up-firing tweeters and dual woofers.

Dell Alienware m18 and x16 R1: Availability

The new Alienware m18 and x16 R1 will go on sale from April 12. The m18's price starts at ₹3,59,990, while the x16 R1 starts at ₹3,79,990. Both laptops will be available for purchase via Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), and leading retail stores.
