    As the name depicts, the offer is only valid for the employees of a few enterprises which have partnered with Airtel plan. Only those people can only avail the offer of grabbing the 32GB variant of iPhone 7 at Rs. 19,990.

    If you get to pass through the first eligibility check, here is a fact check for you. Airtel is offering this ‘iPhone for life' plan, which allows you to purchase the 32GB variant of the iPhone for a down payment of Rs. 19,990. You get it correct, the phone does not cost just Rs. 19,990.

    As we all know, the 32GB variant is priced at Rs 59,998. but as a part of the deal, you only need to pay Rs 19,990 as an initial down payment. For the offer, Airtel has tied up with Bajaj Finance under which the iPhone will be available with zero percent interest scheme.


    Documents You Need to Submit

    To avail this offer from Airtel and Bajaj Finance, you need to submit two months' salary slip to verify whether you are eligible for the plan.

    You should also signup for Electronic Clearance Service wherein you authorize Bajaj Finance Limited to deduct money from your account as per the plan.


    Mandatory Airtel Plans

    If you are opting for this 'iPhone for life' plan, you must choose any one of the plans between Rs. 1,999, Rs. 2,499 and Rs. 2,999 per month.

    Benefits of these plans include 5GB of 3G/4G data along with unlimited local + STD calling, even national roaming for Rs 1,999. The Rs. 2,499 plan gives you 10GB of 3G/4G data, whereas the Rs. 2,999 plan gives you 15GB of 3G/4G data per month.


    Calculate Your Balloon Payment Carefully

    Under this plan, you can return your iPhone 7 after 12 months and grab the latest available. However, if you are happy with your phone, Airtel and Bajaj gives you the room. You have to make a Balloon payment of Rs. 24,000 in order to keep your phone with you for life.

    But, here you need to do some calculation. After a year, you would have paid Rs. 19,990 down payment, nearly Rs. 27, 600 for the data plan, and the balloon payment of Rs. 24,000. This comes up to a total of Rs 71,590, which is the cost of a 32GB variant of iPhone 7 Plus.


    Damaged? Airtel Will Not Take It Back

    Within the period of 12 months, if your iPhone has got cracked screen,casings, scratches, chips and dents, paint peeling, liquid damage, LCD damage or bleeding or swollen battery issue, Airtel won't replace your iPhone.

    You Can Not Go for MNP

    During the period of 12 months, you can no longer apply for Mobile Number Portability (MNP), you cannot transfer the ownership of the number or migrate from postpaid to a prepaid plan.
