The device is launched with a tall 6.60-inch FHD+ display which has a waterdrop notch and a thick chin bezel. The device offers 1080 x 2408 pixels screen resolution and a standard 6Hz refresh rate. This panel is suitable to play high-resolution videos both online and offline. The Galaxy F42 5G has a matte-textured rear panel which is unlike most of the budget phones in the market. The back panel features a square-shaped camera module on the top-left housing three sensors and an LED flash.
