We already know that HMD Global is prepping to launch a flagship smartphone - the Nokia 9 at a press conference this month. The Nokia 9 is likely to be launched alongside the Nokia 6 (2018).
HMD Global is yet to come up with a confirmation regarding the existence of the new Nokia 6 but we have come across several reports regarding this smartphone. Lately, two variants of the Nokia 6 (2018) were spotted on the TENAA certification in China shedding light on the possible specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
Now, it looks like HMD will announce the Nokia 6 (2018) this week as a China-based online retailer Suning has taken to Weibo to tease the launch of the smartphone via NokiaMob. The teaser captioned in Chinese as seen in the image above shows a few old Nokia phones that are arranged to form '3'. Also, on translating the Chinese text, it reads, "3 days" and "unique craftsmanship, new Nokia 6".
This teaser by the Chinese online retailer makes us believe that the Nokia 6 (2018) could be launched in three days. This launch pattern is not new to HMD Global as the company unveiled the original Nokia 6 in China in the first few days of January 2017 and it also went on sale within a few days and was sold out within seconds creating a massive demand among the consumers. So, it is possible for the company to plan the same with the next-generation model as well.
Lately, we got to know that HMD Global might launch the Nokia 4, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 1 sometime this year, thanks to the leaked information revealed by the Nokia Camera app. While the details regarding these smartphones are scarce, the Nokia 1 is expected to be an Android Go (Oreo) smartphone that could be launched in March. Also, the leaked list of Snapdragon 845 SoC flagship smartphones revealed that the Nokia 10 might be launched as a flagship in August this year.
Besides these models, it is known that HMD Global will launch the Nokia 9 on January 19 in China. The company is also prepping to unveil the Nokia 3310 4G variant that has been spotted on the certification websites such as FCC, Bluetooth SIG and TENAA revealing the possible specifications.
To refresh, the Nokia 6 (2018) is believed to arrive with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB default memory space. The device is revealed to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and arrive in three color such as White, Black and Blue.
