Samsung Galaxy A57 & Galaxy A37 Prices in India Revealed Ahead of Launch: Major Price Hikes Expected

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 in India and globally. Reports about the specifications of the Galaxy A57 and A37 have been doing the rounds for some time now.

We recently reported pricing of the upcoming Galaxy A series smartphones in Vietnam and South Africa. And now, tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed details about the Galaxy A57 and A37 prices in India.

According to Yadav's post on X, the Samsung Galaxy A57 price in India will start from Rs 56,999 for the 8GB/256GB model, whereas the 12GB/256GB configuration will cost Rs 62,499.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G price in India will start from Rs 41,999 for the 8GB/128GB model. Additionally, the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations will come in at Rs 47,999 and Rs 52,999, respectively.

It is worth noting that these prices don't include offers and it is unclear what deals Samsung will include with the devices. If accurate, both the Galaxy A37 5G and A57 5G will have gotten major price hikes over their predecessors.

Samsung Galaxy A37 (Expected Specifications)

The Samsung Galaxy A37 is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch flat Super AMOLED display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2340 × 1080 (Full HD+) resolution. It is also tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging, while wireless charging is unlikely to be part of the package.

In terms of design, the handset could measure 162.9 × 78.2 × 7.4mm and weigh around 196g. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, with no support for microSD expansion.

On the software front, the Galaxy A37 will likely run Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Connectivity options are expected to include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3, along with support for dual SIM and eSIM.

For cameras, the device is tipped to feature a triple rear setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. On the front, it may include a 12MP (f/2.2) camera for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy A37 is expected to be offered in Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy A57 is expected to sit just above the A37 in the lineup, offering a similar core experience with a few refinements. It is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2340 × 1080 resolution, along with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging.

Powering the device could be the Exynos 1680 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, though expandable storage is likely to be absent. On the software front, the phone is expected to run Android 16 with One UI 8.5 out of the box.

Connectivity is where the A57 may stand out, with support for 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 6.0, along with dual SIM and eSIM capabilities. The camera setup is expected to remain unchanged, featuring a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro shooter, alongside a 12MP front camera.

In terms of design, the Galaxy A57 could be slightly slimmer and lighter than its sibling, measuring 161.5 × 76.9 × 6.9mm and weighing 192g. It is also expected to be available in Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy colour options.
