Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023 official date announced: Galaxy Z Flip 5 to take centre stage

After several leaks and rumours, Samsung has confirmed the official date of its next Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung's annual Galaxy Unpacked event for its foldable smartphones will kick off in late July rather than the August.

Samsung is expected to unveil a whole host of products at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, although a major emphasis will be on its foldable smartphones. The South Korean tech giant recently teased the event on its official website.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023 Event

The next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 26 and will be the first to be hosted in Seoul, South Korea, a "place where traditional culture and futuristic visions intersect to inspire global trends and game-changing innovation."

The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event will be streamed on Samsung Newsroom India, Samsung.com and Samsung's YouTube channel beginning at 04.30 pm (IST) on July 26. And from the official teaser, the primary emphasis will be on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023: What to Expect

The teaser poster for the event showcases the Galaxy Z Flip 5, with the tagline "Join the Flip side". The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to see a major update over past iterations of the device.

The biggest upgrade is set to come to the outer display on the device, which will be significantly larger than past Galaxy Z Flip models. This appears to be in response to the competition, particularly that from the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra.

More than just Foldables

Apart from the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung will also announce the Galaxy Z Fold 5 at the upcoming Unpacked event. However, foldables are the only devices that will take centre stage during the event as Samsung will unveil three new Galaxy Tab S9 tablets at the event.
