With both Qualcomm (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5) and MediaTek (Dimensity 9500) announcing their flagship mobile platforms, we are about to see several brands incorporate the new chips in their top-end offerings. From OnePlus and Vivo to Realme and OPPO, here's are the top upcoming smartphones in October 2025.

OnePlus 15
The OnePlus 15 will launch in China this October, followed by India by late November or December, alongside the OnePlus 15R. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, it features a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X3 LTPO display (1-165Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 1,800 nits peak).
It packs a 7,300mAh Glacier Battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The triple rear cameras include a 50MP ultra-wide, Sony LYT-808 wide with OIS, and OIS telephoto lens. Extras include ultrasonic fingerprint, wet touch, advanced cooling, NFC, dual speakers, IP66/68/69 durability, and three colour options.
iQOO 15
The iQOO 15 is set to launch in China on October 15, with an India debut expected between November and December. Leaked images show a white variant with a flat 2K Samsung OLED display (144Hz) and a squircle-shaped rear camera module. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and iQOO's Q3 chip, it will run Origin OS 6 (Android 16).
Key features include a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wireless charging, triple 50MP cameras with 3x zoom, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 8K vapor chamber cooling, USB 3.2, and IP69 durability, positioning it as a top-tier flagship for performance-driven users
Vivo X300 Series
Vivo will launch the X300 series in China on October 13, 2025, featuring the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. The lineup includes the X300 and X300 Pro, expected in India by late November or December, priced under ₹70,000 and ₹1,00,000, respectively.

Both models feature BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED displays, large silicon-carbon batteries (6,000mAh X300, ~7,000mAh Pro) with 90W wired and up to 50W wireless charging, and advanced Zeiss co-developed cameras with up to 200MP sensors. The Pro adds up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, OriginOS 6 (Android 16), and enhanced vibration motors, with IP68/69 durability and multiple color options.
Realme GT 8 Pro
Realme will launch the GT 8 series in China this October, including the GT 8 and GT 8 Pro. The Realme GT 8 Pro features a 6.78-inch 2K BOE AMOLED flat display with slim bezels, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a unique triple rear camera setup with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and two 50MP sensors.
It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with a 32MP front camera and a 7,000mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. Additional features include IP68/IP69 durability, dual speakers, and an X-axis motor. The standard GT 8 will have a smaller 6.6-inch display.
OPPO Find X9 Series
Oppo is set to launch its Find X9 series in India by early December, following its October 16 debut in China. Recently spotted on the BIS website with model number CPH2791, the phone is confirmed for local release. The Find X9 will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chip, rivaling Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and feature massive batteries-7,000mAh on the standard model and 7,500mAh on the Pro.

Camera upgrades include Hasselblad-tuned optics, with the Pro boasting a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. Design changes include a squircle-shaped camera module, with color options like Bright Red, Frost White, and Velvet Titanium.
Honor Magic 8 Series
Honor is preparing to launch the Magic8 series powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The Magic8 scored 4,166,339 on AnTuTu v11, outperforming the Xiaomi 17 Pro's 3,749,435. It achieved a CPU score of 1,213,845 and GPU score of 1,468,351, both higher than Xiaomi's results.
The Magic8 Pro will also feature a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with an 85mm equivalent focal length and f/2.6 aperture. With deep AI integration supporting around 3,000 scenarios across 100+ apps, the Magic8 series combines powerful performance, advanced imaging, and smart features, positioning it as a strong flagship competitor.
Redmi Magic 11 Series
RedMagic will launch the RedMagic 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ in China on October 17, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Promising "unlimited combat power," the series introduces advanced cooling, a larger 8000mAh battery, a new touch chip, and a futuristic design. Leaks suggest under-screen camera tech will return, paired with a flat display.
Gaming features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, fan and water cooling, ensuring peak performance during intense sessions. With IP68 certification for durability, the 11 Pro series aims to deliver cutting-edge power and reliability, continuing RedMagic's legacy as a gaming-focused flagship.
Redmi Note 15 Pro Series
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is expected to feature Samsung's ISOCELL S5KHPE 200MP primary sensor (1/1.4-inch), alongside the 8MP OmniVision OV08F ultra-wide from its predecessor. Leaks also suggest a 20MP front camera upgrade for better selfies.
These changes mark a key step up from the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, currently priced at $309 on Amazon. While camera improvements stand out, other hardware advancements may be minimal. Xiaomi has yet to confirm pricing or global availability, but we expect the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series to launch in India in October.
Vivo V60e
The Vivo V60e is expected to launch in India this October, with pricing starting at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, going up to Rs 38,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant. Discounts may lower prices to as little as Rs 28,749.

Key specs include a Dimensity 7360-Turbo SoC, up to 12GB RAM, 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display (120Hz), Android 15, a 200MP + 8MP dual rear camera, 50MP front camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Additional features include IP68+IP69 certification, NFC, IR Blaster, and two colour options-Noble Gold and Elite Purple.
Realme 15x
Realme will launch the Realme 15x 5G in India on October 1, with sales starting the same day. Expected highlights include a 7,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging, a 50MP front and rear camera setup, a 144Hz display with 1200 nits brightness, and IP69-certified durability with military-grade shock resistance.
The phone may feature up to 24GB Dynamic RAM, 256GB storage, and a 6nm octa-core processor, likely from MediaTek. While pricing is unconfirmed, it's speculated to be under Rs 15,000. Positioned as a durable yet high-performance device, it strengthens Realme's 15 series lineup.
Realme Game of Thrones Smartphone
Realme has unveiled a special Game of Thrones-inspired edition of the Realme 15 Pro, featuring a black-and-gold finish with dragon engravings and a heat-sensitive back that shifts from black to red like dragonfire. It includes custom themes based on House Stark and House Targaryen, plus collectibles such as a Westeros replica, Iron Throne stand, and house insignia cards.
