Vivo another popular Chinese smartphone brand in India has yet again sent out invites for a new smartphone launch in the country. The phone that is going to be launched is the Vivo V7+ and it will be unveiled on September 7 in Mumbai.
Vivo is expanding its product portfolio for the Indian market and the smartphone, Vivo V7+ will basically be a new addition to the 'V series'. Unfortunately, not much is known about the upcoming Vivo V7+ smartphone. One thing we are sure about is that the smartphone will be a camera focused smartphone.
Other than that, the invite reveals the smartphone will come with a big display panel and it also looks that the device will have an almost bezel-less display. The top and bottom bezels look pretty thin and will feature some kind of sensors. The home button seems to be missing thus the fingerprint scanner will most probably be placed at the back.
The invite comes with a tagline that reads, "Get ready to capture clear shot, clear moment." Further, at the bottom, you can read,"Redefine the selfie experience with the revolutionary selfie camera." All these details point to the fact that the upcoming Vivo V7+'s main USP will be the selfie camera much like its earlier smartphones.
In any case, we will have to wait for the launch event as far as the price, specifications, and availability details are concerned. It will all be disclosed during the same.
Vivo India has been constant in launching new smartphones in the market. The company recently launched the Vivo X9s and X9s Plus with dual selfie cameras and it further looks like the company is gearing up to launch few more handsets in the market. Smartphones like Vivo X11, XPlay 7, X20, and a mysterious model dubbed as Vivo 1717 have all been spotted in either benchmarking websites and numerous leaks have also surfaced online.
Besides, Vivo does see the Indian market as a place for rapid growth and so is the company launching many devices for the Indian consumers. Chinese smartphone brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus amongst others have also been doing significantly well in the market and these brands have in fact taken over the market share in India. In the end, Vivo is aiming for a bigger share of the market.
